Audio Engineering
Getting the sound right at the source — mic choice, placement, and levels — so you can just perform and feel comfortable doing it.
High Park, Toronto
Brody's Place is an independent recording studio focused on acoustic folk, singer-songwriter, and indie projects — capturing performances, not just takes.
About the studio
Every acoustic panel and ceiling cloud in this room was designed and hand-built to create a reflection-free listening position, with a separate isolation booth for tracking. Running since January 2024, Brody's Place is a small studio with a purposeful sound.
The highlights of the collection are very deliberate: a vintage Gibson LG-1, an Epiphone ES-335 through a Fender Princeton Reverb, and a Neumann U87 for the moments that need to be captured exactly once.
